and we start the show off with a great track from the 45th St Brass band called THE PERSUANCE. Led by PETER DANIEL on sax, this track also features D'VONNE LEWIS on drums and vocals off the album THE CURTAIN SHOW!

THE JOHNNY CHIMPO ALL-STARS were a funk band that performed at the Sea Monster when we first opened. Led by NATHAN SPICER on keys and efx, this funky group still rocks the stereo with tracks like EXISTENTIAL NIGHTMARES OF A DEAD VIRGIN off their self titled release.


PROMETHEUS RISEN is the album from star Seattle drummer MATT CHAMBERLAIN and funky keys man BRIAN HAAS. They rolled through the Sea Monster on their tour a couple years back for an exciting night of expirimental music like this track, SPACE COLONIZATION.


ANDY COE is one of Seattle's most celebrated and versatile guitarists. His project IGUALES is still a joy to listen to after all these years. Off the album LOS IGUALES, check out this track WE MOVE ON.

JOHNNY & THE MOLES have recently released their debut CD and it's great! This track FIGURE IT OUT is a fun pop romp with nice vocal harmonies from a bunch of Seattle dudes featuring the lead singing and drumming of JOHN EWING. They are performing at the SEA MONSTER LOUNGE on Wednesday APRIL 3rd at 8pm and it's a FREE SHOW!

JELLY BREAD are a Reno, NEVADA band that has undergone a few changes, but has always stayed soulful. With drummer CLIFF PORTER steering the ship, this track YOU DON'T WANT ME also features the vocals of THE VOICE contestant WHITNEY MEYER off the album NO DRESS CODE.


322 is a fairly new jazz band on the Seattle scene from Tacoma. Led by sax man BRANDON LEE CIERLEY the band is forming their chops with a steady diet of original jazz/funk tunes. Check out this song called THE ONE off their self titled debut CD.

HAIKU-CHI was my (ANDREW SEA MONSTER) original music project with members of the band FUNKY 2 DEATH from back in 2006 or so. We recorded a couple albums, but only released the first one HELLO KITTY. This song JUST BEGUN is about my wife and the beginning of our story and features WOOGIE D's first time with brushes on a drum kit, and MELISSA MONTALTO on violin!

INLAKE'CH is another of Seattle guitar master ANDY COE's former projects from yesteryear you can throw on the stereo and feel good about. this song INTERACTION is off of their album CASCADE.

I like experimental jazz bands and this one is mesmerizing. Featuring BILL JONES on the trumpet, JAY JASCOTT on drums, and guitarist BILL PATTON, IRON KIM STYLE and their song GIBBERISH FALTER off their self titled album.

Everybody is talking about the DELVON LAMARR ORGAN TRIO! They have exploded all over the United States and the WORLD with their tours of last year and this. Organ master DELVON LAMARR has moved to Austin Texas, but his roots in the NORTHWEST extend to another project called MEGATRON. check out this track ROOMS ON FIRE.


VELOCITY is another TACOMA jazz band that is bursting at the seams with talent ready to take on Seattle. Featuring CLIFF COLON on saxophone, this song MOSAIC is off their album DISPLACEMENT OVER TIME.

FUNKY 2 DEATH is the house FRIDAY night soul/funk band performing at the SEA MONSTER LOUNGE. Led by drummer/vocalist WOOGIE D, and featuring keyboardist/vocalist ROCPHIZZLE and much more, off their album SUPERFUNKYDYNAMITESOUL, check out their song F.I.M.P. aka FUNKY IN MY PANTS!
